Objective One
The Brief: Direct Mail To encourage South Yorkshire businesses to apply for a share of £20million in government and EU funded cash to help them train their staff.
The Approach:
Devise a bold and radical message (COME AND GET IT!) and implement a highly targeted, staged direct mail campaign - closely allied with the extensive media coverage - encouraging responses via post, the tailor-made website or hotline.
The Result:
Over 10% of South Yorkshire's businesses responded to the campaign via the hotline, website or reply card and, as a result, millions of pounds worth of subsidies were allocated to training the region's workforce.
